Kali & Vall // Fort Steilacoom Park // Tacoma, WA
This was my first time going to Tacoma Washington for any sort of session. I had never heard of Fort Steilacoom Park before and didn’t know if it was going to be good for engagement photos. But when I googled it, I knew that it was going to be perfect for Kali and Val’s engagement.
Here’s what Kali had to say about their love story…
We were Each others camp crushes. I was hooked the second I saw him, literally. I wanted to know him and for 3 years I’ve been getting to do that! He’s in the air force, he’s been away and I’ve always been here in WA. But soon we will be together forever. We said we loved each other 3 weeks after we met! It was an incredible feeling and it still is. We are best friends yet complete opposites. I’m outgoing, giddy, and chatty. He’s the opposite but just as wonderful.

From the first time I met them, which was less than a week before their wedding day, I knew that they shared a deep love for each other. Val has been stationed over in London, England while Kali was back here in the states. Val came back home a week before their wedding day and their engagement session was only four days before they were set to be wed. Even though this engagement session was last minute, Fort Steilacoom Park was a perfect location for these two!
