The Trujillo’s // Bellingham WA // Small Backyard Wedding

This was definitely not what Courtney and Joseph had planned for their wedding. But, like most people this year, the world had its own plan for them. After going from plan A to plan C, D, or E… these two had a beautiful small backyard wedding in a backyard with their closets family and friends.

The day started out with a blanket of fog and a light drizzle, typical Washington to be honest. But you couldn’t tell by the BEAUTIFUL sunset photos we got at the end of the night. As if this day couldn’t get any better, the clouds parted for an absolutely perfect sunset. Courtney and her sister were getting ready in her soon-to-be in-law’s bedroom and Joseph in the spare bedroom downstairs. Family started rolling in and helping set up the backyard for the small ceremony. It truly was a day that was brought together by family.

Instead of having an Officiant, Courtney and Joseph had their wedding party take turns speaking about their love. Both of Courtney’s parents walked her down the isle and shared an intimate moment. From start to finish this tiny wedding was packed full of small moments and strong emotions.
