The Holm’s // The Barn on Jackson // Chehalis, WA
I first met Katelyn and Jake at a small little coffee shop, Starbucks… you might have heard of it before. From the first hello, I could tell that they were my kind of people. It was kinda like a first date, we were all a little nervous but by the end everything just felt comfortable. They were both just so excited to finally get to their wedding day and have the best party EVER! (which they did without a doubt) Their venue was the perfect backdrop to their romantic winter wedding in a cozy barn.
Katelyn and Jake’s engagement session was up in the beautiful Olympic Mountains at Hurricane Ridge. We had such a fun time exploring the wild fields and befriending some very cute dear. We spent the whole time laughing and cracking jokes… oh, and we took some pictures too!
They say rain is good luck on a wedding day, and for these two they will be having a ton of good luck in their marriage! Having a wedding in the middle of winter will certainly come with its challenges with the weather. But these two never let the rain get them down! We even got a little bit of sunshine right before the ceremony to do their first look. The rest of the night was very magical and cozy in the barn. (seriously one of the cutest venues ever!)
